Things are happening at TQ, big things, and we’re here to tell you about them.
From AI to Apps, IOT integration to self-serve portals; we’ve got some very exciting projects in the works at the moment.
Our current, and upcoming, AI projects are all very different. They display just a snapshot of what can be achieved using AI. For example one project focuses on improving customer experience by detecting anomalies prior to them happening, whilst another is addressing business efficiencies. It’s fantastic to see organisation’s perceptions shifting to be more explorative of developing technologies, utilising AI and IOT for business gain.
Did you know there are only a handful of Umbraco Gold Partners in the Southwest? You guessed it, we’re one of them. We’re big fans of Umbraco, it’s not the only solution we offer but we recommend it in most cases. We maintain our gold status with continued learning and contribution to the community our resident Umbraco Expert, Benji, submitting work that was used in the Umbraco festivals! We’re proud of our team for continuously expanding their learning so our clients get the best solutions – well done TQ team!
The team’s growing…again! We’ve recently welcomed three new members to our Bristol office: Rob is our super organised Project Manager who’s energy simply cannot be matched. George’s curious nature, extensive experience and general know how has him perfectly placed to be our Tech Lead. Finally, Mark joins us with decades of experience in project management across multiple disciplines and completes the line up as our Senior PM.
But what about the team?
Well, they’ve been pretty busy outside of work too. Ash completed the London Marathon recently in an impressive time of 3:33, raising thousands for the wonderful ‘Make a Wish’ charity.
He’s not the only runner though. Our Tech Lead George, ran the Bristol Half Marathon a few weeks ago. Nick, Florence and Victoria are all training for races too… Maybe a TQ run club could be on the cards?
Not to be outdone by running achievements, Software Developer Sam B decided he was going to get one further and move to the other side of the world. That’s right, Sam’s living it up in the Manila and take remote working to a whole new level.
Victoria is doing some wonderful work with Tec Girls as a mentor for their after-school club ‘Micro-Bit’. Supporting girls and women in STEM is something we’re VERY passionate about. We love being able to support girls with their education, helping them learn about tech at such an early age.
There you have it. A short summary of TQ life over the past few weeks. Here’s to another great month!
